Make yourself the hero
Choose skin tone, hair, cape colour and a favourite object, so the person on the page is recognisably you.
Venture — Digital platform
“Every big feeling deserves a story.” A privacy-first storytelling app that turns a real emotion into an illustrated book where the reader is the hero — and teaches a physical move to process it.
The idea
Imagine a child in your life holding a picture book where their exact feeling — the one they had this afternoon, the one they could not explain — gets felt all the way through, with them on every page.
That is the whole product. A character asks six questions about the feeling and where it lives in the body. The reader chooses how they look: skin tone, hair, cape colour, a favourite object. Twelve illustrated pages later there is a book starring them, about the thing that actually happened, ending in a physical move they can use the next time.
It works because it does not try to fix the feeling. It gives it a shape, a story and an exit route.

How it works
01
Choose skin tone, hair, cape colour and a favourite object, so the person on the page is recognisably you.
02
Lil’ Sass or one of her friends asks six questions about the feeling and where it sits in your body. No diagnosis, no scoring.
03
Twelve illustrated pages generated from your answers, ending in a physical technique for processing the feeling.
Trust & safety
This is a product children use to talk about their feelings. That places a materially higher obligation on us than a normal consumer app, and we have built accordingly.
Personal identifiers are stripped before anything is sent to a generation model. The story is personal; the data handed off is not.
Inputs pass through screening designed to catch disclosures that need a human, not a story.
Readers under 13 require verified parental consent before an account can be used.
The world
The app is not a spin-off with a licensed character pasted on. It is built on The Adventures of Lil’ Sass book series, using the same cast and the same Venice Beach roller rink setting the books established.
Lil’ Sass, Mrs. Moo, Mr. O.G., Lil’ Artie and Lil’ Amina each bring a different relationship to emotion — which matters, because a child who cannot hear it from one character will often hear it from another.

FAQ
Still unsure whether this is the right fit? Tell us what you are facing and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right people for it.
It is a storytelling app that turns a real feeling into a personalised, illustrated book where the reader is the hero. A character guides a short, structured conversation about the feeling and where it sits in the body, and the app generates a twelve-page illustrated book from it.
It is designed for readers aged 5 to 18 and for the adults alongside them. Adults use it too — the mechanism does not stop working because you turned twenty-five.
Every generated book teaches a physical action for processing the feeling — something the reader can actually do with their body rather than only think about. It is the difference between naming an emotion and metabolising one.
Privacy is built into the product rather than bolted on. Names never reach the AI systems that generate the story, conversations are screened, and parental consent is required for readers under 13. Read the full privacy policy for details.
